CLEAR COLOURLESS TO YELLOWISH LIQUID AFTER MELTING or Colorless prismatic crystals. Crystals melt at 23℃. Liquid Sp.Gr. 1.09. B.P. 300℃. Almost insoluble in water, soluble in alcohol and oils. Practically odorless when pure. Slightly bitter-astringent taste and mouthfeel.
