What is formic acid?
Preparation
With formic acid treatment basic dyes?(C.I. 46025) the free alkali, the proportion is: 85% of formic acid?(21) and the dye free alkali (140); Or 85% of formic acid?(140 ) and a dye free alkali (a total of 60).
Properties and Applications
yellow. Soluble in water and ethanol is yellow, a green fluorescent. The strong sulfuric acid for yellow with green fluorescent, diluted red for brown, and then into a yellow light brown. The dye solution with strong sodium hydroxide solution have bright yellow precipitation.
