Riboflavine 5’-Phosphate is an intermediate in the synthesis of Riboflavin-4''-phosphate (R415010), a phosphate ester of Riboflavin (R414995) which is a nutritional factor found in milk, eggs, malted barley, liver, kidney, heart, leafy vegetables. Richest natural source is yeast. Minute amounts present in all plant and animal cells. Vitamin (enzyme cofactor).

Background

A coenzyme for a number of oxidative enzymes including NADH DEHYDROGENASE. It is the principal form in which RIBOFLAVIN is found in cells and tissues.
