Preparation
2-Chlorobenzene-1,3-diol (1 Moore) and Phthalic anhydride (1 Moore) condensation, its product again with 2-Chlorobenzene-1,3-diol??condensation, and then into sodium salt.
Properties and Applications
orange. Slightly soluble in water for orange, with weak yellow fluorescence, soluble in ethanol for orange, with green yellow fluorescence, soluble in acetone pink, yellow fluorescence, soluble in Furan Tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol. In concentrated sulfuric acid for titian, dilution after yellow brown, orange precipitation. Dye aqueous solution to join sodium hydroxide as red edge. In the glycerol and paraffin in good dispersibility. (dye character and C.I. 45370 similar).
