Bromoethane-13C2 is an isotopic analog of Bromoethane (B684195) which is used in the synthesis of novel non-competitive antagonists of kainate Glu1/Glu2 receptors. Bromoethane is a useful reagent to prepare tryptophan analogues and the antibiotic, Tamoxifen.
