ChEBI: An organic sodium salt that is the disodium salt of 2,5-dichloro-4-{5-hydroxy-3-methyl-4-[(4-sulfophenyl)diazenyl]pyrazol-1-yl}benzene-1-sulfonic acid. It is used as the erythrocyte stain in Garvey's method for elastic, fibrin and collagen as well as a sub titute for martius yellow in Lendrum's MSB.
