What is 4-MPD?

4-MPD (also known as 4-Methylpentedrone and 4-Methyl-α-methylamino-valerophenone), is a stimulant belonging to the Cathinone group. It is a higher homologue of 4-Methylmethcathinone (Mephedrone) and 4-Methylbuphedrone (4-MeMABP), and the p-Methyl analogue of Pentedrone.
Pentedrone is a substituted cathinone that is structurally similar to methcathinone, a psychoactive stimulant that is a controlled substance in the United States and other countries. 4-methyl Pentedrone is an analog of pentedrone that features a methyl group added at the 4 position of the phenyl ring. The physiological and toxicological properties of this compound are not known.
4-MPD is not for human consumption. This product is intended for forensic and research applications.

The Uses of 4-MPD

4-Methylpentedrone Hydrochloride is an analog of α-Methylaminovalerophenone Hydrochloride (M287300), which is a synthetic homolog of Ephedrine (E575000).
