3-(Bromomethyl)trifluoromethoxybenzene is a reagent used in the preparation of aminophosphorylalkanoic acid derivatives as aminopeptidase A inhibitors.
General Description
3-(Trifluoromethoxy)benzyl bromide undergoes the Friedel-Crafts polymerization in the presence of aluminum chloride catalyst to afford the polymer.
