TCP Limited is one of the leading manufacturers of pure “Sodium Hydrosulphite” in India. We also produce Liquid Sulphur Dioxide which is used in refineries for kerosene refining, lab chemicals manufacturing, paper bleaching, rayon pulp bleaching and in production of leather chemicals.The Company has set up its plant for the manufacture of Sodium Hydrosulphite (SHS), with technical know-how from the M/s Mitsubishi Gas chemical(Part of Mitsubishi group Japan), through the unique Sodium Formate route, adopted for the first time in India. The plant is located at Kovilur, Karaikudi in the State of Tamil Nadu, India. The nearest sea port is Tuticorin.The product, Viz., Sodium Hydrosulphite, has a very wide application in industries like Textiles, Jaggery, Pharmaceuticals, Paper, Pulp and Ceramics.The Company also set up a plant for the manufacture of Liquid Sulphur Dioxide, as a captive plant, with the technical know-how from M/s Garbato Implanti Chimici s.r.l., Italy.
