Neogen Chemicals Ltd. is a over 30-year old company specialising in Bromine based compounds, Grignard Reagents and Inorganic Lithium Salts. We are founded by Mr. Haridas T. Kanani, a chemical engineer from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai.Apart from Bromination and Grignard chemistry, Neogen has also developed competencies in other related chemistries, such as, Alkylation, Acylation, Aminatin, Oxidation, Dehalogenation, Silylation, Halex reaction, Friedel Craft, Couplings and Chlorination. Further, Neogen has obtained the license from MU Ionic Solutions (MUIS) (a JV between Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation (MCC) and UBE Corporation and is a group company of The Mitsubishi Chemical Group (the group) a Japanese conglomerate) for availing its proprietary and confidential manufacturing technology for making Neogen’s electrolyte solutions at its manufacturing facility in India with a planned max installed capacity of upto 30,000 MT per annum.
