Our first manufacturing unit, "Jumac" came into existence in 1968, manufacturing HDPE and Aluminium silver cans and carded cans for spinning mills and yarn industry and accessories for jute machinery/industry. This factory was created with proper planning and plenty of room for planned expansions in future.On my return from the USA post graduation, my father cajoled us to diversify and create fresh goals, exploring new sectors. I acquired a small primitive Labsa factory producing 1 ton per day. We expanded from this humble starting point, today Sai Sulphonates boasts of state of art technology producing 10000 tons per month. We are the single largest supplier and exporter to top MNC’s like Unilever, Proctor Gamble and Henkel. As we grew we realized that setting up a self-sustaining fully backward & forward integrated unit was a necessity ensuring minimal external dependence.
