In 1917, two enterprising men - Shri Shivchand Dhinoja & Jethalal Shah, sowed the seeds of a company that started selling dyes in India.Today, under the leadership of the Doshi family, the company has grown to be one of the most trusted names in dyes, additives, pigments and much more, at home and overseas.The Directors of Amritlal & Co had the vision of building the dyestuff industry in the country. With years of selling experience, Amritlal & Co made the move into manufacturing a wide range of dyestuff.With a firm belief in self sufficiency, the company decided to start its own manufacturing unit for dyes and intermediates, and in 1954, Amar Dye-Chem was floated as a Public Limited Company in technical collaboration with Hilton Davis Chemicals Co, USA.
