Lornoxicam is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and analgesic drug, which is a thiazine derivative. It has strong antipyretic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. It can inhibit the activity of two isomers cyclooxygenase (COX) relatively evenly, and then inhibit the biosynthesis of prostaglandin, producing anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects The COX1:COX2 inhibition rate of this drug is 0.6, so it has a good analgesic effect of traditional NSAID. Meanwhile, this drug does not inhibit the activity of 5-lipid oxidase, so it does not inhibit the synthesis of leukotriene, nor does it transfer arachidonic acid to 5 The metabolites of arachidonic acid and 5-lipid oxidase can inhibit the impulse process of nociceptors in the spinal cord, so that the analgesic effect of lornoxicam is similar to that of opioid peptide analgesics, and both lornoxicam and naproxen can significantly reduce the score of rest pain in OA patients There was no significant difference in joint tenderness index and joint swelling index between the two drugs, but the effect of Lornoxicam on improving patients' activity pain score was better than that of naproxen animal safety studies showed that the toxicity characteristics were consistent with half of the oxidase inhibition.
