Spiramycin is one of the macrolides antibiotics. Produced by diphenyl. The antibacterial spectrum was similar to that of erythromycin. Its in vitro antibacterial activity is weaker than erythromycin, but its clinical effect is better. The strains resistant to erythromycin and penicillin, such as Staphylococcusaureus, still had good antibacterial activity. It is easily absorbed by oral administration. Low toxicity. It can be used for the treatment of Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus SPP, S.pneumoniae, Neisseriameningitidis, N.gonorrhoea and E. coli (ESC) Herichiacoli) and other infections.
