Bromotaxinil is a partial agonist of benzodiazepine GABAA receptor, which was first developed by Roche as an anti-anxiety drug. It was found that bromotaxinib could counteract the spasmodic induced by pentaenetetrazole, and the combination of bromotaxinib with pyridamine (100μg·kg-1,im) and approfen (4mg·kg-1,im) could prevent sarin and soman poisoning at the antispasmodic dose (125 ~ 250μg·kg-1). Bromotaxinib at 50 ~ 400μg·kg-1 dose has good anti-anxiety activity, compared with diazepam, muscle weakness side effect is very small, so as one of the components of central nervous system protection, has obvious advantages.
