Kitasamycin is a multi-component macrolide antibiotic produced by Streptomyces. Its free base is for oral use; tartrate is for injection. Its salt is white or light yellow crystalline powder, odorless, bitter, slightly hygroscopic; soluble in water, methanol or ethanol; few insoluble in ether, chloroform.

4.Veterinary medicine Kitasamycin can effectively prevent and cure chronic respiratory disease (CRD) caused by septico- mycoplasma of broiler or layer.
5.Veterinary medicine Kitasamycin can effectively reduce long-time diarrhea of broiler and duck caused by unclear reason.
