    Rocuronium bromide, pancuronium bromide, vecuronium, atracurium and piperonium bromide are several non-depolarized muscle relaxants commonly used clinically in China at present. Rocuronium bromide has the fastest effect and can provide ideal muscle relaxants within 60 ~ 90s. When non-depolarized muscle relaxants bind to the exercise endplate cholinergic receptors, the membrane potential of the exercise endplate does not change, but prevents acetylcholine from binding to the receptor, resulting in muscle relaxation. Prior to the onset of muscle relaxation, these agents do not produce the twitching caused by bundle contraction of muscle fibers that occurs with depolarized muscle relaxants. Rocuronium, a derivative of vecuronium, has the same effect but is only one-seventh as strong. Rapid effect after intravenous injection, intubation can be carried out within 60 ~ 90 seconds, and the action time lasts for 30 ~ 40 minutes. It has no obvious effect on autonomic nerve and cardiovascular, but can reduce intraocular pressure, and has no histamine release and sympathetic ganglion block effect. Clinically, it is often used for endotracheal intubation, and can also be used for maintaining muscle relaxation in various operations. Intubation, single injection 0.6mg/kg, maintenance dose 0.15mg/kg. This product may have cross-allergic reactions with other muscle relaxants and should be used with caution. Liver and renal insufficiency should be used with caution in the elderly.
