Tazarotene is the third generation of retinoic acid in dermatology. It is the precursor of vitamin A for topical use. It can regulate the differentiation and proliferation of epidermal cells. It is mainly suitable for the treatment of plaque psoriasis vulgaris. Tazarotene cream can also be used to treat facial acne. Psoriasis is a common benign, acute or chronic inflammatory skin disease. It occurs on the basis of genetic tendency. Traumatic or irritation of normal skin can induce psoriasis lesions. Tazarotene gel is used as external formic acid preparation, which can be used to treat psoriasis. Tazarotene is a kind of synthetic ethylene retinol, which can be rapidly converted into tazarotene acid after topical administration. Tazarotinic acid and retinoic acid receptor in skin- γ( RAR- γ) After combination, the clinical symptoms may be improved by restoring normal skin differentiation and reducing skin inflammation.
