Maheshwari – a college student on the verge of graduation in commerce and economics – decided to set up an independent business to manufacture Potassium Permanganate (KMnO4). Since then we have grown significantly :  Universal Chemicals today is not only the leading manufacturer of Potassium Permanganate in India, it has also emerged as a significant player in the world market.

Today our employee strength is over 400 people, including Ph.Ds, chemical engineers and highly-qualified technicians. We provide a stimulating environment for our employees with the emphasis on delegation and empowerment at all levels.  Our people are encouraged to keep abreast of new technologies and latest market scenarios so as to face challenges proactively in an ever-changing business environment.
