Properties: This product is white or almost white powder, odorless, bitter taste. This product is very soluble in dimethylformamide, dissolved in methanol, slightly soluble in glacial acetic acid, slightly soluble in water or chloroform.
Content: (Dry product calculation) ≥98%, Moisture: ≤0.5%, Residue: ≤0.1%, Heavy metal: ≤20ppm, Acidity: 4.5-6.5, Chloride: ≤0.02%, Fluoride: ≥4.8%, related substances : The sum of impurity spots is ≤ 2%.
Uses: Animal-specific antibacterial agents for the bacterial diseases of pigs, chickens and fish caused by sensitive bacteria, especially for respiratory infections and intestinal infections.

Application

Florfenicol was originally mainly used in aquaculture and was effective in the treatment of yellow-tailed fish with pseudonuclear pasteurellosis, streptococcal disease, and naturally occurring Atlantic salmonids. Oral administration has a good protective effect against Pasteurella multocida infection, delayed edward Edwardia infection, Vibrio anguillarum infection, and killing of Vibrio anguillarum infection, and the curative effect is superior to other commonly used antimicrobial agents (Qiu Yinsheng et al. , 1996).
