Sodium formaldehydesulfoxylate dihydrate product is white crystal. Soluble in water. Insoluble in anhydrous ethanol, ether and benzene. It has strong reducibility at high temperature. It has fading property. Decomposition at high temperature produces formaldehyde, hydrogen sulfide and other toxic gases. The solution is neutral. The melting point of anhydrous substance is 63-64 ℃. The surface density is 1.80-1.85g/cm3.
