Tris(hydroxymethyl)nitromethane is used in industrial water system, oil removal, nonprotein glue and pulp to inhibit bacterial reproduction. The drug can be used to prepare the intermediate of acid amine. The oral LD50 was 1900mg / kg in rats and 1900mg / kg in mice.
