Application 

Acrylonitrile is used to synthesize polyacrylonitrile, nylon 66, butadiene nitrile rubber, ABS resin, polyacrylamide, acrylate and so on. It is also used as grain fumigant.

Application 

Acrylonitrile is the intermediate of fungicides such as bromobacterium nitrile, downy mildew, chlorpyrifos, dichlorfon and fenitrothiram. It can also be used to prepare methyl permethrin to produce pyrethroids. It is also the intermediate of insecticide cypermethrin.

Application

Acrylonitrile is an important monomer of synthetic fibers, rubber and resin. Polyacrylonitrile fibers (acrylic fibers) are made from acrylonitrile, and their properties are very similar to wool, so they are also called synthetic wool. NBR can be prepared by copolymerization of acrylonitrile and butadiene. It has good oil resistance, cold resistance, wear resistance, and electrical insulation properties, and its performance is relatively stable under the action of most chemical solvents, sunlight and heat. ABS resin was prepared by copolymerization of acrylonitrile with butadiene and styrene.Acrylonitrile has the advantages of light weight, cold resistance and good impact resistance. Acrylamide, acrylic acid and its esters can be prepared by hydrolysis of acrylonitrile. They are important organic chemical raw materials. Acrylonitrile can also be electrolyzed hydrogenation coupling to produce adiponitrile. Hydrogenation of adiponitrile can also produce adipamine, which is the raw material of nylon 66. It can also be used in other organic synthesis and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in cereal fumigants. In addition, this product is also a non-proton polar solvent.
